Josie Mai is an artist, educator, and guide who lives in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She has a partner, Lance, and three dogs, Maya, Kiowa, and Zuni. Making mandalas for several years has contributed to her mental health so strongly that she works with them every day and is passionate about using them to work with others.

Josie is also the creator of ArtSpark, a carefully-curated magical box of several easy, fun, and inspiring projects for ages 10 and up. Some supplies are included, and treats and stickers are very included.

Josie has a BA from the University of Kansas in art education, an MFA in studio art from Parsons the New School for Design, and teaching certifications for K-12 Art in Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri.
