Josie Mai is an artist, educator, and mentor who lives in Elkins, Arkansas. She has a husband, Lance, three dogs, Maya, Kiowa, and Zuni, and a cat named Wednesday. Making mandalas for several years has contributed to her mental health so strongly that she works with them every day and is passionate about using them to work with others.
Josie is also the creator of ArtSpark, a carefully-curated magical box of several easy, fun, and inspiring projects for ages 10 and up.
Josie has a BA from the University of Kansas in art education, an MFA in studio art from Parsons the New School for Design, and teaching certifications for K-12 Art in Arkansas, Colorado, Kansas, and Missouri.
